How to produce water & solvent based nano pigment paste without grinding machines?

Pigment Paste is mainly fine dispersions of pigments in aqueous, solvent or universal system, including Water Based Pigment Paste, Solvent Based Pigment Paste. Most of the time when you want to produce this paste, you need lots investment, such as mixing, grinding machine, testing machines and so on, also you need a factory, production…

Is there any solution to produce highly transparent, high bright, strong coloring, narrow nano size distribution with grinding machine, mixing tools, testing instrument, workers…?

Here is the two solution for producing both Nano High Transparent Solvent and Waterborne Pigment Paste without grinding machines. You can use our Nano CAB pigment chips and water based pgiment chips with just a dispenssing machine to produce any amount, any color pigment paste within 40 minuts without waste, environment problem.


Equipment chose:

① Impeller type high speed mixer (serrated impeller) stainless steel mixing drum.

② The diameter ofthe impeller should be 1/3~1/2.5 ofthe barrel diameter.

③ The distance from the impeller to the bottom of the barrel should be 0.5 to 1 times the diameter of the impeller.

④ the height of the surface from the bottom ofthe bucket to the stilness of the color paste shall be 1 s 2 times the diameter of the impeler.

Dispersion formula:

① Add 50%-80% solvent into the dispersion cylinder (which can be adjusted according to the oil absorption of the pigment chips).

② Adjust the rotating speed of the disperser (1000R/min for small machine and 600R/min for large machine).

③ Add the pigment chips slowly.

④ After all the color chips are added, adjust the rotating speed of the disperser (small machine 2500-3000R/min, large machine (1200-1500R/min) to seal as much as possible to prevent a large amount of solvent from volatilizing.

⑤ After 15-20 minutes, scrape the pigment chips on the cylinder wall and bottom.

⑥ Continue to disperse at high temperature, disperse after the feed temperature is about 50℃, and measure the fineness in 40-60 minutes. No dense particles are found, and it is qualified within 10-15um.

⑦ Adding residual solvent, filtering and packaging.
